SongAh Chae from South Korean is a pianist, composer, and arranger, who is classically trained from at the age of 4, and became a jazz artist after she went abroad to study jazz to Berklee College of Music in Boston, US. In 2019, she moved to Spain to do master degree. She is the Outstanding Woman Scholarship and Groove Scholarship recipient in Contemporary Performance (Production Concentration) at Berklee in Valencia. Her leading band was invited to Goldfish Yam in Madrid, Sponsored by YAMAHA Music Europe in Feb, 2020. Fifty-fifty Jazz Festival in Asturias, Sevilla, etc. Since then, she has been appearing in Spanish music scene.
She has been at the forefront of jazz and fusion, both as a soloist in various genre and as a jazz-fueled pianist forging creative ground with her acoustic and electric band. She displays her artistry with a delicate touch and to explosive expression from straight ahead to jazz to fusion, classical music, along with RnB and funk.
