Sax & Voice Live Sax and Singing + Halfplaybacks, Swing and Latin Music

Accompanied by recordings of excellent live bands, Sorano sings and plays songs and stories from the Great American Songbook. The whole thing is spiced up with bossa nova and excursions into pop, funk and blues. The result is an authentic swing and latin jazz sound, a harmonious mix of live sax, live singing and half-playbacks. Stylistically, the music ranges from a calm background to groovy, even slightly rocky sounds, from catchy swing titles to chilled smooth jazz (lounge) and bluesy grooves. There is also swing music from the 1920s.
