We need a performance space of at least 8 meters x 5 meters. We require 2 x 13 amp power sockets and 3 parking spaces.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes, we do have our own PA system for all of our gigs, as well as a simple lighting rig, for an additional cost.
Yes, we are happy to play music from Spotify before, after, and between our sets. We are happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music or a DJ.
We have performed as a band at several open mic nights, Atlantis, The Palm, VIP events, weddings, and private parties..
We love to play at all sorts of events, but clubs are our favorite because we get to interact with the crowd.
We have been performing on stage as musicians for almost 10 years; however, we formed Soulful Melodies just about 6 months ago.
Our favorite artist is Michael Jackson, and our favorite song is "Earth Song" because it deeply touches our hearts with the things happening around the world nowadays.
Yes, we do have a couple of DJs tied up with us that can be offered for a reasonable package cost along with the band.
Usually, we arrive 3 hours early to set up. We normally perform two 45-minute sets, but depending on the situation, we could play an extra 20 minutes if required.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn up to 2 specific songs before the event. Clients are welcome to choose a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them. Please make your selection at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
