To secure the booking, a 25% deposit must be received. The remaining balance is due no later than two weeks before the event, either by BACS or cash on the day before the performance. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the venue provides a safe power source and a suitable performance area. If the performance cannot take place due to venue restrictions, the client will still be liable for the cancellation fee as outlined in these terms and conditions. The client must also ensure that the band is provided with adequate refreshments throughout their stay at the performance venue. At a minimum, this includes a free supply of mineral water and soft drinks (the provision of alcoholic drinks is at the client's discretion) and a hot meal or buffet for all band members and their third parties. The band is open to negotiation regarding these provisions, but any modifications must be documented in the contract. In the event of cancellation more than four weeks before the performance, the band will retain the 25% deposit. If the cancellation occurs between two and one week before the event, the band is entitled to 50% of the total fee agreed upon in the contract. For cancellations less than one week in advance, the full fee must be paid to the band, as they have dedicated their resources to your event. In cases of "Force Majeure" (including war, fire, death, illness certified by a qualified medical practitioner, epidemic, accident, civil commotion, national calamity, government order, changes in law, foreign government policy, or act of God), which are not due to any act or failure to act by the artist or client, either party may cancel the booking without penalty, other than the loss of the deposit. The band will provide a PA system suitable for audiences up to 300 people. For larger audiences, the client can either supply an appropriate sound system and lighting or request the band to hire additional equipment from other sources. All equipment provided by the band is PAT tested.
