We can provide our own sound equipment. Subject to the size of the venue, we will provide a plot plan for use of your sound.

Yes we can provide music tracks, or a DJ, for an extra fee before and during setup and between sets.

We have enjoyed performing all venues for which we have been hired as each venue has differing dynamics, needs and audiences.

We have performed at various venues from private parties, up to festivals with thousands of patrons. While we have our own sound, logistically, the best venues have been those providing sound and tech.

We enjoy playing all types of events. However, we most recently performed for a senior citizens event during which these young at heart seniors dance during each and every song we played for 2 hours! We enjoyed watching them enjoy our music and the energy they brought.

The Soul, Rhythm & Groove band formed in 2019. However, members of the band have experience performing with bands prior to 2019.
Some members have been gigging since high school - a few decades ago.

We are a 5 piece band. I am the only female member of the band, andI can speak only for myself. I have been most influenced by Smokey Robinson, Lionel Richie, Tina Turner, and Barbra Streisand, and have a broadly diverse appreciation of various genres of music, and therefore it is difficult for me say what song I feel is the greatest song of all time. It would be like comparing apples to oranges.. I have been most influenced by the music of Motown.

1. We arrive approximately 2 hours before the start time and set up.
2. We do a sound check approximately 40 minutes before performance time.
3. Our performance time is usually 2 to 3 hours depending on the venues needs. We take a 10 - 15 break between sets, subject to the event type. We are flexible m, subject to the needs of the venue or event organizers.

Yes. We are happy to play outside and have performed many outside festivals. We ask for loading nearby the performance area or stage. A level surface on which to perform, a nearby power supply, and an overhead cover, if it all possible , to protect us from the sun.

If desired, yes. However we would need to be made aware of this, in ample time, to learn new material if we need to add it to our repertoire.

In general, no. we have set lists that we perform from. We may take a special request if there is a birthday celebration, anniversary celebration, or some other special occasion patrons are celebrating.
