Static Space is a POP/R&B group composed of 4 inspirational singers and skilled performers from Cape Town, South Africa. The group was established in 2014 and has quickly gained a reputation as a talented vocal group to look out for. Static Space's music is characterised by its soulful and uplifting melodies, catchy hooks, and powerful vocal performances. The group's sound draws from a range of influences, including Motown, R&B, and Pop, and their music is loved by fans around the world.
One of the signature features of Static Space's performances is their tribute shows, which celebrate the best of Motown music. The group covers classic hits by legendary artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, The Stylistics, Kool & the Gang, Manhattans and many more. These tribute shows have been a hit with audiences and have helped to establish Static Space as one of the most exciting vocal groups on the scene today.
Static Space has performed at numerous venues across Europe, Mallorca and Ibiza, to our local shores in South Africa entertaining part time on the MSC Cruise Ships, including clubs, festivals, and corporate events. Their live shows are renowned for their energy, passion, and showmanship, and the group has built a devoted following of fans who love their music and performances.

Their Debut Single, "Tonight" reached number 1 on the SA Top10 Charts for Heart fm Radio Station and also reached No.2 for South African Artists of the year in 2020. They released their second Single, Yes, No, Maybe and Living High, which also topped the Charts in 2021 and 2022. Their music was met with critical acclaim and commercial success.

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.

We love playing at all sorts of events, it's all about pleasing the client, and if we can make them dance and enjoy our show, then we know we created an everlasting moment and experience.
We started gigging whilst at school and our performances developed from there. Since we started, we’ve performed at hundreds of venues, parties and events across South Africa and beyond.
We are huge Motown lovers, and go by the likes of The Temptations, Earth Wind & Fire, Kool n The Gang, Stylistics, Manhattans etc.. but to name a few.
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We are happy to abide with the clients' requests.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 3 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
Previous customers would describe us as a high energy group that loves to get the audience on their feet dancing.
