Siciliano di Messina, laureato in Flauto traverso al Conservatorio V. Bellini di Catania, sin da giovane inizia la sua attività musicale suonando in formazione con Melo Mafali, Melo Catania, Renato Villari e Antonio Oliva. Dal Rock Progressive approdano ad uno stile Rock con venature Jazz e, con un repertorio originale, si esibiscono in teatri e piazze per l'Italia. Dopo un periodo di studio classico in Germania, seguirà una breve esperienza in Scandinavia con altri musicisti. In seguito amplia la sua formazione artistica frequentando un corso di Sax e improvvisazione Jazz con Jim Odgren al Berklee College of Music e partecipa, in seguito, alla Berklee Summer School at Umbria Jazz.
