Stevie Bagpipes is an accomplished Piper who performs with confidence and loves to entertain people, be it Weddings, Birthdays, Special Occasion or Corporate events. With a vast repertoire of traditional, creative and contemporary music he is well known as a Professional Highland Piper but highly regarded as a Wedding Entertainer within the industry. Stevie is the Professional Piper who is recommended by The Wedding guide UK and was featured in the spring 2023 Wedding Guide UK Magazine.
Originally from Edinburgh but now I living in the North East of England he started playing the Bagpipes aged twelve and in his younger years was an award winning Solo Piper and Band Member competing at the highest level. He has played for and had affiliation with numerous bands over the years, The West Yorkshire Fire Service Pipe Band, The West Yorkshire Police Pipe Band and The Guards Depot Piping School to name a few. Today he is a Piper with The Los Angeles Scots Pipe Band, one of the most successful Pipe bands in the USA.
Stevie also has the privileged of being affiliated with the world famous historic "Bamburgh Castle" and has played there for Public and Private events. He was the Lone Piper at the Castle for the weekend celebrations of Her Majesty the Late Queen Elizabeth the Seconds Platinum Jubilee in June 2022 and Played for their for King Charles the third Coronation celebration Bank Holiday Weekend
Stevie Bagpipes musical capabilities are very apparent to all who hear him but he has a personality that is so engaging and has so much enthusiasm for what he does, he really is a Professional Piper/Entertainer who will enhances any Event or celebration he performs at for the better.
