Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

The best gig we did was the opening act for Isaac et Nora's band on their world tour when stopping in Sydney, at the Factory Theatre.

What's your favourite type of event?

We love all types of events, sometimes concerts can be a bit more serious and corporate and private events a bit more relaxed, but we are happy to always connect to beautiful and interesting people!

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We are brothers and have been playing music together for over 25 years. In our latest adventure we are exploring the Brazilian classical guitar, that has a lot to offer and plays a pivotal role in the culture of our country, so for us it is a real pleasure to step into our homeland's musical heritage and share it across Australia. We started gigging back home in the 2000's and more recently, in Australia, we have been sharing our work with the beautiful instrumental music from our country.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

We are influenced by many great musicians, some of them are Dilermando Reis, João Pernambuco, Turibio Santos, Baden Powell, Yamandu Costa, Toquinho, etc.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We usually arrive one hour before the performance to do the setup and sound check, and play 1 to 3 sets of 45 minutes. We are flexible and can adjust the set times and length to the schedule of the event.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, we are happy to play outside and can provide battery operated power if needed.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We often play the extensive repertoire we already have, but sometimes have requests and are happy to work on new material. :)

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

The music we play is sophisticated, exquisite and unique, we always receive a very nice & warm feedback after our presentations and often some guests get impressed by the virtuosity and beauty of the music and arrangements we created.

"Thank you so much for playing at our event. We really appreciate it! You were both fantastic and we will definitely have you in if we do another event in the future."
