We can set up in any corner of a room if small venue or house party. Or on a stage. We adapt to the venue or events space.

"Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig." If venue provides we will use house system and lighting

We are organic players however, each of us have many years of experience on stage and are all masters of our instruments.
Rain, is the most techy with her ability to design websites and engineer recordings.

Each event is different in its own way. But our favorite would be an event that we can set up a few hours prior, that has a changing area or back stage
Prior to Sweet Sounds, John and Rain performed in the band D'Vine Ryte circa late 80's, and were signed on the Road Runner Records Label. They met when John auditioned for second guitar position. After the loss of their bass player the band folded on the verge of an international tour. In Mid 2000's John and Rain started a new project called Somehow Sorry. They were on the Modern Voices Records Label.
Festival appearances at Woman's Rights to Rock, Lilith Fair, Woodstock Revival, The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame and the CCAR Recovery Fest. Established their reputation as a respected folk/rock act. As well as Supporting artist for many national rock bands including, Warrant, Nino Bettencourt and Missing Persons.

Set up - 1 hour prior to show.
Performance time, whatever the venue needs, 1hr, 2hr, 3hr etc. A 3 hour show requires one 10 minute break
Yes, with ample protection from sun or rain
If given the opportunity, we will accomidate song requests, we ask that we are given 30 days notice on specialty songs
Energy, can see you love to play and perform. Great interaction on stage with band members and audience
As singers we are excellent partners. I often relate this to dance or ice skating. There is a "dance" to harmonizing together. John and I instintively know where to go when singing togeter. Wether it be simply acoustic or with a full band. We can exchange lead vocals at any time without practicing, it just an inner feel we have for each other
