After 25 years behind the decks of clubs and festivals throughout Europe, with several releases under major labels (Sony, Wagram, Universal) and legendary labels such as Verve, the DJ/producer Giorgio Cencetti, aka Farrapo, presents his versatile live project aimed at showcasing his album "The Nu Swing Experience".
Farrapo crafts a musical journey rooted in Congo Square, the birthplace of jazz in New Orleans, yet speaks the language of the 2000s, blending funk, echoes of brass bands, hybrid songs, electronic elements, and jazz virtuosity. It's an original and personal reinterpretation of swing beyond the house-oriented clichés of electroswing.
The band has already been invited to prestigious European music festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival (CH) and Fusion Festival (DE).
The lineup can vary from a trio to a sextet.

We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 1.30 minutes (+ eventually dj set)
