Synth City is the new Raleigh NC based tribute to the 80's synth pop and dance hits!
The musicians involved in this new exciting dance outfit are all veteran multi instrumentalists of the scene and beyond:
- Corey Stuart (lead and backing vocals, keytar and electronic percussions)
- John Fichera (keyboards, programming, backing and lead vocals)
- Manguss (guitar, synth guitar, programming, backing and lead vocals)
- Rod Winley (bass guitar, bass synth, backing vocals)
- Eric Weaver (electronic drums, programming)
They have all been an active part of the dance music scene of North Carolina for a long time with their previous bands, such as The Breakfast Club, Big Love, Shine, Funk N Disorder, Centricity and ADSR among others.
The crowd pleasing songs included in Synth City's repertoire are not often played by every generic band due to the detailed sound crafting involved and the need for the talents forming the band to play different instruments in order to recreate as much as possible the atmosphere of the original productions.
