About / Biography

We are well experienced band, with almost a decade together and lots of gigs at our backs. We play songs of your favorite Soundtracks, and we play them in style, with an energy and a vibe that you have not seen in any other cover band. Our job is to make you sing and dance to those songs you have heard a million times in your favorite films and openings, and we love it!

We started playing the classic themes from the Tarantino's filmography (thus our name). We have now expanded our sound and have included iconic music from other filmmakers and tv shows.

The band is made of 6 musicians: main vocals, electric guitar, electric bass, drums, keyboards and tenor saxophone. All musicians also sing, so we have a good choir to go with the lead voice. We also use some minor percussion, added to our fantastic drummer.

We play Funk, Soul, Rock and Roll, Surf, Pop, Punk, and a bit of Rap.

Our most demanded set is one hour and a half long, but we can do both longer and shorter shows.

We have played everywhere: from big venues in cities annual festivities (like Barcelona's Fiestas Mayores) to private parties; from thematic fairs to business meetings.

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

We need a stage than can fit 6 musicians with all its gear. The more comfortable and roomier, the better, for it will allow us to move and show our energy and showmanship at its best.
The other needs, as to backline and hospitality, rely on the specific characteristics of each show and venue.

What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know where it will be; which kind of event it is; stage, backline and technical staff info; starting and sound check time; show length; hospitality and parking spaces.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

We have sound equipment for small venues. We usually use it for private parties and business events.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we can.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

We have played several times for Barcelona's Fiestas Mayores, the annual festivities held in the different city’s districts. Those are open air gigs with lots of people and a fantastic joyful vibe; a real pleasure to play in.

What's your favourite type of event?

We play in all kinds of events and we always have a great time. But local festivities are the ones that best fit us. Big, open air scenarios with plenty of people singing along and dancing to our tunes.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We are all professional and trained musicians. The band has been giging for almost a decade, though each of the musician's background goes way back. We started playing local. The idea came from our vocalist and bass player (founder members) who wanted to do something to reach a broad audience but didn't want to fall in the beaten paths of the common cover bands. At first the band was made of just four musicians, but we wanted a fuller sound, so the addition of the keyboards and the sax, was the correct choice. Also, we hired people who could sing, so we could do the vocal harmonies we wanted.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

We drink directly from the most popular of the Tarantino's classics, so it would be Chuck Berry, James Brown, Randy Crawford, The Coasters... but, as we already said, ours is a crucible of styles. The most important thing is to make people sing, dance, and have a blast of an experience. We want them to enjoy the show as much as we enjoy playing it: and we absolutely love it!

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

If the venue has its own backline (not including instruments, drums and amps) we can set up and soundcheck in one hour. Anyways, the most usual time window would be of 2 hours before the performance.
Our most common performance is 1:30 long, with a small 10-minute break in the middle. We can always adapt to the venue's needs and erase the break and make the show shorter or longer. The band's full setlist will stretch to 2:30 long.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes.
The stage area should be flat and secure and we will need a power supply.
In sunny summer venues a shade will be needed.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Our set repertoire is tailored to offer the best possible show.
Anyways, customers can ask for changes. They can ask us to play a specific song from our broader repertoire or add some songs.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Electric, full of energy and good vibes. People use to praise our songs selection, our attitude, style, and the quality of our musicians.

Do you play en weedings, private celebrations or business events?

Yes, we do, and we love to do so!

Are you opened to playing abroad?

Yes, we are!

With how much time should we book your services?

The sooner the better, so we can make shure to fit you in our calendar.
