Mario Urtubia
Tauro makes contemporary latino pop. Mario Urtubia Almonacid,
both singer, guitarist and composer, is the face of Tauro.
Mario, born and raised in Los Andes, Chile, received his first guitar lessons
from his father and enjoyed at home all the necessary publicity.
Since he was a few years ago residence in the Netherlands, he has
concentrated on writing and recording his own material. He has
developed into an experienced performer who, both up-tempo songs like
ballads, vocal qualities are perfectly able to bring.
Mario has Tauro in 2000 and 2001 a large number of talent shows in his
name managed to write. One of the main prizes was a CD recording
Wisseloord Studio with Marc and Martin Schimscheimer Duiser as
producers.
One of the highlights of his singing career so far was a gig at Studio 21 during the "volleyball player of the year gala. He also has a single CD in September 2003 for FC Utrecht made. In 2004 this was a sequel in the studio of Bolland & Bolland, the Latin Passion CD. He also may act as a guest artist in several television programs such as Veronica Live, Night Suite and the 5 hours show and of course always so busy with a new repertoire. The latest news is that the hit Tauro BRAXX LOCO LOCO in his name.
