I require nearby plug sockets for my PA system and one parking space.
Directions to help find the venue
Yes I bring my own PA system.
I have blue tooth on my PA system and this can be used for Spotify playlists.
I have a stage pas 400T which is a great sounding PA system with different vocal effects and a Bluetooth connect function.
I use an electro acoustic guitar and sometimes use a pedal and percussive instruments too.
One of my favourite gigs was performing at a festival where everyone was dressed as superheroes!
I performed a couple of times for the winner of BBC master chef at his high end restaurant in Manchester on NYE!
I enjoy playing at parties but I like playing at all sorts of events and enjoy getting the guests / audience involved with some audience participation!
Audience participation especially works well at parties and corporate events, where there is a team building element.
I have been performing since I was a child and have been a professional for over fifteen years.
My first gig was at the tender age of ten and I have been performing professionally since my early twenties.
I have performed all over the UK, in Europe and across Australia too.
I have performed at music festivals, high end hotels, corporate events, birthday parties and also worked in the field of music therapy.
I have been most influenced my Nirvana, Johnny Rotten and the Sex pistols, Blink 182 and Bruce Springsteen.
My favourite song of all time is ‘ Coming back to life ‘ by the Pink Floyd.
I am also a freelance photographer, working across different styles from fashion to documentary.
I have had work featured with the BBC, Wired magazine, Lens culture and it’s nice that.
I also like to do comedy impressions and can do many impressions, including a collection of American presidents and Donald Trump!
I sometimes do impressions within my performances.
In my free time, I like to go skateboarding!
I usually arrive about an hour beforehand, it takes me about twenty minutes to set up.
I usually perform 2 x 1 hour sets of 3 x 40 min sets. I can play for long for an extended fee.
Yes I am happy to perform outside, I just ask for shade / cover and a power source nearby.
The clients can select songs they’d like me to play from my repertoire and I can learn a song request before the event, if they get in touch with a request before the event. I also know alot of songs that aren’t in my official repertoire, so I welcome requests from the audience on the night.
Many previous clients have described my performances as engaging, fun, vibrant and interactive.
I loved to get other people involved and bring a sense of musical community!
I can play different instruments and bring along a collection of percussive instruments that others can use.
I am also able to be spontaneous and respond to audience requests and the atmosphere of the room, I often make up songs and raps on the spot.
I like to get others to join in and welcome and encourage people in the audience to sing along and join in with me.
Being able to do comedy impressions, I sometimes do an impression of the artist I am playing, before and during the song.
