DOC MARTIN and the MARTINIS!
Der Name ist Programm: Entertainment und Spaß auf und vor der Bühne mit einer Formation, die ihresgleichen sucht! Musiker, denen man die Begeisterung für Ihre Musik ansieht. Eine Show, die von der ersten Sekunde an wohltut. Das behauptet zumindest Doc Martin, der in seiner wohl einzigartigen Weise versucht, die Martinis zu bändigen. Nicht immer mit Erfolg, denn was sich hier auf der Bühne zusammen braut, gleicht einem Vulkanausbruch.
Das Beste der 60er bis 90er Jahre - von Ray Charles bis Supertramp, von den Blues Brothers bis Robbie Williams, über Chic und KC and the Sunshineband, von Paolo Conte bis zum Dschungelbuch - oder zahlreiche Eigenkompositionen: Jeder kommt auf seine Kosten! Dabei wird das Publikum stets in das sehr kurzweilige und humorvolle Bühnenprogramm mit einbezogen, oftmals zum Leidwesen der Mitmusiker auch sehr spontan. Aber Achtung: Der Doc ist nicht selten verwirrt und wirft schon mal was durcheinander! Und der Saxophonist, liebevoll auch „unser Rammsteinchen“ genannt, flämmt regelmässig die Bühne ab… und das alles noch gerührt oder geschüttelt!
Eigene Songs wurden bislang auf 3 CDs veröffentlicht. Bisheriges Highlight war die Mitgestaltung des Neusser Eislauf-Musicals "DIE SCHÖNE UND DAS BIEST", für das die Band eigene Songs komponierte und vor insgesamt ca. 16.000 Zuschauern aufführte.

Die Band spielt ausschließlich live OHNE Verwendung von Playbacks, Backingtracks, Samples, u.a. und sonstigen Effektgeräten wie Harmonizer, Autotuner, usw. Private Akustik-Sessions (unplugged) sind ebenso möglich wie große Hallenbeschallung. Eigene PA ist vorhanden, ebenso wie eine zur Musik synchronisierte Lichtanlage incl. Movingheads, Pars, Gobos, LED-Bars, Phaser, Lichtvorhänge und weitere Bühneneffekte wie Nebel, Laser, Pyrotechnik, Upstream-Fogger, Video-Backgrounds, usw.

The name says it all: entertainment and fun on and in front of the stage with a formation that is second to none! Musicians whose enthusiasm for their music is obvious. A show that makes you feel good from the very first second. At least that's what Doc Martin claims, who tries to tame the Martinis in his own unique way. Not always successful, because what is brewing on stage is like a volcanic eruption.
The best of the 60s to the 90s - from Ray Charles to Supertramp, from the Blues Brothers to Robbie Williams, via Chic and KC and the Sunshine Band, from Paolo Conte to The Jungle Book - or numerous original compositions: Everyone gets their money's worth! The audience is always involved in the very entertaining and humorous stage program, often very spontaneously to the chagrin of the other musicians. But beware: the Doc is often confused and sometimes gets things mixed up! And the saxophonist, also affectionately known as "our little Rammstein", regularly flames the stage... and all of it stirred or shaken!
His own songs have been released on 3 CDs so far. The highlight so far was the co-creation of the Neuss ice-skating musical "DIE SCHÖNE UND DAS BIEST", for which the band composed their own songs and performed them in front of an audience of around 16,000.

The band plays exclusively live WITHOUT the use of playbacks, backing tracks, samples, etc. and other effect devices such as harmonizers, autotuners, etc. Private acoustic sessions (unplugged) are just as possible as large hall sound reinforcement. Our own PA is available, as well as a lighting system synchronized to the music, including moving heads, pars, gobos, LED bars, phasers, light curtains and other stage effects such as fog, lasers, pyrotechnics, upstream foggers, video backgrounds, etc.
