I am a classically trained cellist who has been playing for over twenty years. I am well-versed in many different genres of music including, but not limited to classical, contemporary, jazz and Christian. I live in the Tulsa area, but don't mind making the occasional drive 15+ miles away. I have played in multiple orchestras and chamber music groups over the years.

I will need space for a chair and a music stand.
I will need to know any directions that will help me locate the venue if for some reason there are multiple buildings.

A couple years ago, I played for a church service. It was such a magical experience because the person who hired me wanted me to completely improvise basically the whole time. It really showed me that I was more than capable of coming up with my own melodies. It was a huge confidence booster.
My favorite type of events are weddings. I see playing for peoples' weddings as an absolute honor and will always do my best to be attentive during the ceremony. Seeing how happy the couple is after the ceremony is over makes me so happy.
Before moving to Tulsa, I used to play alongside one of my friends. We were a violin and cello duo and we received many offers to play for weddings all around town. Since moving to Tulsa, I have also played in a few weddings and I truly enjoy it.
I think my favorite artist is Yo-Yo Ma. I think he has such an enthralling way of playing the cello. In terms of the greatest song of all time, I honestly don't have one. I think all songs are special in their own way.
I have been playing the cello since I was four, so about 22 years now. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Cello Performance from the University of Tulsa.
I charge a minimum rate of $200 for a performance. This rate is includes possible dress rehearsal time, gas money/travel, and my professional experience.
Typically, I normally arrive 1-2 hours before the performance in order to get set up, warmup, and get comfortable. I don't really have a set performance time; it's usually up to the clients and what they are the most comfortable with. I am more than happy to review timing and pieces with the clients.
I am happy to play outside, but I will need some sort of chair to sit on and room for a music stand.
I don't mind learning specific songs before an event at all. Most of the time, when it comes to wedding set-lists, the client has a general idea of what they want to hear before, during and after the ceremony and that's completely fine with me.
Previous customers hav described my services as professional, beautiful, and magical.
