With over 200 weddings played, we are experts in creating the perfect musical setting for your wedding day. While you are focused on your vows and each other, we'll be entertaining your guests, from the moment of their arrival, until the final dance floor hit of the night.
We can perform beautiful acoustic music for all parts of your picuresque ceremony. Then, allow us to play for family and friends as they arrive for the night ahead. Finally, our dance-floor-fillers will ensure that your wedding reception is a party to remember!
The Knots are available to book as a Trio (Vocals, Guitar & Drums) or a Duo (Vocals & Guitar). We are based in Bendigo & Melbourne, and happily travel to anywhere in Melbourne, Central and Northern Victoria

We just need power (ideally a double powerpoint), 3m (wide) by 2m (deep) of space to setup.

Yes we provide background music via Spotify, not active 'DJ' services. You're welcome to send through playlists, or you can leave it up to us.
We happily travel to most of Victoria, and some areas of southern central New South Wales as well, we’ll have some travel fees if required to help cover our accommodation and petrol costs.
Definitely – one less thing you have to worry about on your day is having someone reliable and organised to run your day – we can do it for you! We’ll gather all the information well before your day so you can relax while we take care of running your reception and making all announcements as well.

We've been playing for 10 years together, every member also has previous cover band experience in their own projects.

Yes! I love helping to plan out reception timelines in order to make the most of the dance floor! I’ve got great suggestions for how to plan out your formalities (entrance, cake, speeches, dances) and mix in our music sets as well, with some extra tips on making some awesome memorable moments too, feel free to ask any questions!
We need around 45 minutes to setup. Our Reception package includes 3 x 45 minute sets of live music to be placed any time that suits you. Packages that include Ceremony & Canapes include more live sets.
Yes for the ceremony, and yes for Reception if it's a very hot night, or happy if it's cooler and we have overhead cover.
Yes you're welcome to submit your favourites from our list.

While all of our amazing vocalists sing in the same style and the same songs, you are welcome to request a specific singer for your day – and if they’re available we’ll book them in! If they are sick or unable to make your day, another singer will take her place (and we’ll certainly let you know).
Absolutely! We love learning that special song for your first dance or walk down the aisle, each package comes with a certain amount of request songs, which you can see above.
We don’t offer active ‘DJ’ services, however we are at our best crowd pumping stage when we play live! We’ve played to over 250 wedding crowds and never failed to pack the dance floor, so if you’re looking for an energetic dance floor – our trio is highly recommended! You are also welcome to provide your own playlists for us to use between our sets as well, or leave that up to us.
