The Sparrows of Paris transport you in space and time to Paris in the 1930s and 40s with a repertoire of french jazz, vintage french chansons and gypsy jazz with the vocals of Parisian singer Carolyn Saint-Pé and accordion, guitar and double bass. The Sparrows of Paris' repertoire include songs from Edith Piaf, Frehel, Mistinguett, Arletty, Charles Trenet, the real jazz-musette of the 1930s and gypsy jazz as played by Django Reinhardt. The Sparrows of Paris recreate the authentic french social dances of the 1930s called bals musette or can provide a gypsy jazz and french chansons set for more sophisticated events.
