Taiwanese-American harpist Tiffany Wu (she/her) is based in NYC and LA.
She is passionate about creating multimedia performance experiences and exploring music as a civic practice. Her current interests include studying the role of the arts in justice, and exploring the intersectionality between literature and song. Past performances with the Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra, City Lyric Opera, Chelsea Symphony, After Arts, United Nations Orchestra, Choirs of America, and more have taken her to venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Museum of Modern Art, Le Poisson Rouge, Kings Theatre, DiMenna Center, and Segerstrom Center. Tiffany has had the privilege of working with notable artists and conductors such as Ted Sperling, Gerard Schwartz, Anne Akiko Meyers, Leon Lacey, JoAnn Falletta, and Donald Nally. An avid performer of new music, Tiffany has also worked with numerous contemporary composers to record and premiere new works.
When not on stage, Tiffany plays for private engagements with organizations like West Coast Music and Homerun Events for clients such as Amazon and Barclays.
She holds performance degrees from Northwestern University and New York University, and her principal teachers include Lyric Opera harpists Elizabeth Cifani and Lynn Williams, and jazz harpist Brandee Younger.
