Biography
Trevor Lund is an exceptionally talented sax player and a gentleman. His personality, energy, and professionalism, coupled with playlists custom made to your taste, will make your party fun, exciting and memorable.
With over twenty years of performing professionally on an international scale, Trevor has established himself as a true master of his craft. He has entertained countless audiences from all walks of life and varied tastes, and has developed the keen ability to adapt to the demands of each unique setting. Decades of experience go into crafting every performance for each individual client's needs.
Trevor began his professional music career with the Marine Forces Pacific Band in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. There he gained the skills of a professional musician as well as the discipline and work ethic of a Marine. Off duty, he immersed himself in the local music scene, playing with various bands including Honolulu's #1 salsa band ‘Son Caribe’ led by Eddie Ortiz at venues like Hard Rock Cafe in Waikiki. During his time in the Marines, Trevor toured all over the Pacific rim with performances in China (Shanghai, Beijing), Mongolia, Cambodia, Laos, American Samoa, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
Following his military service, Trevor was accepted into the Jazz Studies program at the University of North Texas where he graduated with a performance degree in 2016. Throughout his studies he immersed himself in the rich music scene of Dallas and became a top-call player in the Top 40 Cover Band circuit. The showmanship required of the best Dallas cover bands is of the highest caliber and transformed Trevor from simply a talented musician to a full-on entertainer.
Upon graduating, Trevor was headhunted by talent scouts to perform on luxury cruise ships. He has entertained crowds on the smallest and most exclusive yachts, as well as the monolithic giants of Royal Caribbean. Most recently he was selected to perform alongside the inaugural cast of Wizard of Oz on the Icon of The Seas. Eight years of experience on cruise ships has taught him valuable skills in the art of creating an unforgettable experience for the audience, how to shine in the spotlight, and how to blend into the background when the situation calls for it.
Trevor provides a completely self-contained setup and a professional grade sound system which can operate anywhere completely independently, even without access to power. With a collection of over 400 memorized songs, he can provide hours of solo saxophone sets in any style, from current hits to popular classics (Motown, 70s, 80s, 90s), as well as R&B, Country, Pop, Indie Rock, and more. Trevor will play a selection of musical styles catered specifically to your event, and is happy to learn any requests asked for more than a week in advance.

I headhunted to perform onboard Royal Caribbeans Icon of the Seas in the Broadway style production of Wizard of Oz for their inaugural sailing! It was an incredible band and a stunning ship!
I love the energy and community of summer festivals, but few experiences can match the joy of bringing musical magic to a wedding day!
I started my career in the Marine Corps, stationed with the Marine Forces Pacific Band in Hawaii. I later earned my degree in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas. While I was in school I was immersed in the top 40 cover band scene in Dallas. Following my graduation I spend the next 8 years performing onboard luxury cruise ships as a solo artist, a member of small jazz combos, and full theater productions for which I also doubled on flute and clarinet.
Some artist who have always been heroes to me are David Sanborn, Gerald Albright, Dave Koz, Mindi Abair, Maceo Parker, Grover Washington Jr, Roy Hargrove, Joshua Redman, Michael Becker, Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, and many others!
I think the greatest song of all time is impossible to really answer, but one that I have always loved for its simplicity, it’s musical beauty, and the power in the lyrics is Imagine by John Lennon.
I arrive at least an hour prior to the performance to set up. Performance times can be arranged and agreed upon per inquiry.
I am happy to perform indoors or outdoors (weather permitting). I am capable of providing my own professional sound equipment and can operate with or without access to power as I have a substantial and silent camping battery to power my gear.
I have a library of songs to choose from that I can provide you with. Of course I am more than happy to field special requests provided I am able to obtain a track of professional grade quality.
Many people have approached me after my gigs to say that most of the songs I played would have been in their request list anyway.
I always aim to fit the energy level and style of genre for each individual event and client.
