The Upbeat Band comprises female lead vocalist, male lead vocalist, keyboards, guitar, bass guitar and drums. Three of the members are ex-professionals and totalled we have decades of experience (live and recording) and 2,000+ gigs performed.
Dependent on the audience, we perform songs by Adele, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, Beyoncé, James Brown, Bon Jovi, Van Halen and George Benson to name but few. We'll keep things upbeat with songs to dance to and join in the chorus, and for clubs and functions, we'll mix it up with some ballads and 'smooth' material reflecting the audience mix appropriately.
We have a powerful full range PA that can cope with outdoor events and lighting to provide atmosphere. Naturally we'll scale our equipment according to the gig and venue.
Typically we perform in the Hampshire, Sussex and Surrey region, though locations further afield can be considered.
