We are a Scottish Early music duo performing Scots, Highland, and Scottish chamber music of the 17th and 18th century, as well as historic songs in English, Scots, and Gaelic. We have performed at several historic sites in the DC area, including Carlyle House, Historic Londontown, and Gunston Hall, as well as for wedding cocktail hours and reenactment events.
Our lineup is: Peter - baroque violin, violoncello da spalla, 18th century Highland pipes, Scottish smallpipes and reelpipes, baroque flute, vocals; Jim - viola da gamba, lutes, baroque guitar, bandora.
At a historic site or reenactment event, we often perform in period (mid-late 18th century) attire; Peter can choose between Highland and Lowland attire.
