Jimmy Buffett is the big influence for Twin Beaks. Chris is a big fan of KISS, and likes "Rock n Roll All Night." Jack has been influenced by groups such as the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who, and David Bowie. "Behind Blue Eyes" by the Who is one of his favorite songs.
TB can set up and break down in about 35 minutes. We typically arrive an hour before the event start time. A stage area is needed, but we can fit into a small footprint if necessary. We use a Bose PA system for our sound, and we do bring lights. The duo's performances are typically for 3 hours.
Yes, but that depends upon weather conditions. Rain is bad for the electronic equipment. In the summer heat, we will want a shaded spot or awning, and beverages. In colder months, we may need to move indoors depending upon the outside temperature.
As a Jimmy Buffett tribute duo, our set list is pretty much fixed. However, if a client requests us to learn a special song or two in enough time prior to the event, we can usually accommodate those requests.
