Frederik van Tienen makes music that can best be described as a fusion between the rich Indonesian and Western cultures. The band Untung is a continuation of the band Bedjô with its original Western compositions arranged in the style of the rich Indonesian culture. The realization of a long cherished dream: The continuation of his own fusion gamelan orchestra named after Frederik’s Indonesian name: UNTUNG.

We arrive 2 hrs before the gig to set up all the installation and instruments. Performance time is 2x 45 minutes.

Most of the events are outside.

When clients ask for songs to play, the max is only 5 songs, but they can send the partiture and the music of the songs they ask to play.
