Flat, even ground with cover for rain required for outdoor events.

Bluetooth compatible stereo equipment required, or I can bring portable speakers as needed.

If a costume change is requested, I need a place to change between sets.
I can arrive in costume if necessary (a surprise party etc)
Number of guests and requested amount of audience interaction will be discussed. (Are guests to be invited out to dance or given a short lesson at the end etc?)
Is there a power outlet nearby?

Portable Bluetooth speaker is available as needed.

A set list during costume changes can be played by request.

I have over two decades of stage and solo performance experience. My dance group Troupe Hayati has won awards in the dance community.
I thrive with an interactive audience. When the guest(s) aren’t expecting me, I really like making a powerful and memorable entrance to add to the “WOW” factor of the event!

Birthday parties, retirement parties and bachelorette party lessons are my favorites!

I started performing with a student dance troup and progressed to a professional dance troupe with solo performances at local restaurants over 20 years ago.
My stage craft and repertoire have increased over the years to include Fan Veils, swords, isis wings, veils, veil poi, whirl wings and zills (finger cymbals).

My dance icons are Aziza from California for her spunky and technique based style, and Sadie Marquardt for her isolations and versatility.
Tarkan, and said Mraz are among my most shimmy inspiring artists.

Costuming is discussed at booking.
Color and style of costuming can be tailored to fit the motif/ vibe and color scheme of an event.
Dresses with belly coverage, fuller skirts or addition of sleeves can also tone down the amount of bare skin exposed (for Ramadan or more subdued occasions)

I arrive with time to set up required props and stereo equipment. I will change on premises if possible, but can arrive in costume for surprise events or those without changing areas.
Minimum events include a 15 minute set of dancing with requested props. I allow time following the set(s) for photo opportunities.
Multiple sets can be requested.
I can include audience participation (getting guests up to dance or participate in a shimmy contest).
The event can also start with a group lesson (up to 1 hour) with time to change and a short performance afterward.

Weather permitting, I can and do enjoy performing outside. The costumes and props cannot be used in rain and would require cover.

Requests for style, era, and language are welcome.
I have performed to modern, and classical belly dance instrumental music, as well as Arabic pop, and sometimes that special occasion Top 40 English favorite and everything in between!!!

I have repeat clients who like my spunky, playful, energetic and up-beat performances. My music gets toes tapping and hips wiggling! I look to inspire the shy and bold alike to dance and celebrate and be joyful!
