UK-based saxophonist and DJ Vicki Watson has crafted a flourishing career delivering feel-good music that exudes positivity and joy. Bringing the dynamic range, melodic sensibility and improvisatory nature of her classical and jazz roots straight to the house music scene, Vicki masterfully combines soaring melodies, punchy rhythmic riffs, and freestyle flourishes. Her sound is bold, direct and spirited, with a tonal warmth that is both honest and engaging. Every performance is fresh, full of energy and uniquely tailored to her audience.
In addition to her skills as a saxophonist and woodwind artist, Vicki is also at home behind the decks as a DJ. Equipped with state-of-the-art Pioneer DJ, sound and lighting equipment, she elevates events by fusing her live saxophone with expertly mixed tracks, creating a high-energy, immersive musical experience that’s perfect for weddings, parties, and corporate events. Her one-woman ability to blend DJing with live instrumentation sets her apart, ensuring unforgettable performances every time.
When she’s not playing Ibiza-style club saxophone or working on small ensemble jazz projects, Vicki is the saxophonist for The House Iguanas, a Latin-infused house music trio of DJ, saxophone and percussion, and she’s also the musical director and lead alto for the Watson & Brown Little Big Band.
Vicki’s performances have taken her from glamorous New Year’s Eve celebrations in the Maldives to sun-soaked beach parties in Türkiye, elegant corporate events in Sorrento, and prestigious venues like the Gherkin and the Globe Theatre in London, Coworth Park, the Ageas Bowl Stadium, and the Wilderness Festival. Performing at over 150 private events per year, Vicki’s impressive portfolio also includes studio recordings and session work for albums, film, and gaming projects.
Beyond her live performances, Vicki is an electronic music producer and recording artist under the name Electro Mama. Her unique productions combine live clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophones, and flute with percussion, sampling, and cutting-edge music technology. Her debut EP, Polaroid, is available on Spotify, and she is currently developing a new project titled Synesthesia.
