Weird science delivers a nostalgic, flux capacitor powered journey back into the past by recreating the look, sound, and feel of the most renown artists of the early days of MTV (back when they used to actually play music videos!) We love playing for anyone, but the best is when it's a lively crowd who loves to dance and sing along!
Collectively, the band members have almost 150 years experience on stages all across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Most of us started when we were children and we are still going strong!
As a band we are inspired by the early MTV new wave bands and seek to recreate that era to present a nostalgic walk back to the future!
Sorry. We specialize in capturing the early MTX era new wave vibe, so it's what we do best. But, we promise to deliver our best at what we do. We do all we can to ensure you have a GREAT time!
We normally arrive two hours in advance and play either 4 45 minute sets, 3 hour long sets, or 2 90 minute sets, depending on the event.
