The best gig we've ever done was when the band were commissioned to play on the back of a flatbed truck on Flinders Street in front of the Melbourne Town Hall. We proudly put out AC/DC vibes while we rocked everyone's world with a short and sharp set for our very happy client.
We love playing at all sorts of events, but birthdays are our favourite! We work together with clients to tailor our setlist for the event. We also love playing at regional venues as the guests are always happy and it's easy to get them dancing.
X-GenZ have been playing together and gigging since 2017. We started playing at venues in Melbourne like Musicland and the Central Club Hotel, before expanding to regional and interstate gigs. We've now played hundreds of gigs, and entertained thousands of people over that time.

Setup time: 1 hour
Performance times are generally 1-3 x 50 minute sets, however may be tailored upon request.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat and dry level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
