We are YANIKEKE, a multi genre and bilingual “LIVE” Latin band from the New York City area. We perform a variety of styles including Jazz, Latin Jazz, Salsa, cha cha, Merengue, Bolero, Bachata, Cumbia, R&B, Reggaeton and more! We give special attention in setting the right tone of the moment, whether is a Marc Anthony cover or Shaking to Merengue. We pride ourselves in always performing with a live band, never tracks or sequences. We believe our clients deserve the best of live music at an affordable price.
With over 25 years of combined experience in the entertainment industry, we have performed at just about all types of events. We were featured on WPIX Channel 11 Morning Show, Hosted Google's NYC office “Havanna Nights”, La Casa de Don Pedro's Annual Fundraiser, at SOBS (Sounds of Brazil) in NYC and numerous private events including Weddings, Sweet 16's and other celebrations, galas, corporate and cultural events, festivals, nightclubs, and even backyard BBQ's !
Yanikeke is composed of salsa, cumbia and merengue music artists from the NY/NJ area. If you have been to one of our shows you know that we bring high-energy, Latin (the best) music to our performance. Our set list is customized to each clients needs and we package the band to work within your budget.
