Al Fairhurst is an extraordinary English Singer/Musician from the South of France with a voice as big as his personality. Al began his professional musical career with the formation of his band 'The Rise' back in the early 90’s. The 4 piece band where signed to Polydoor and toured extensively both here in mainland UK and in Europe and in 1991 became the first British band ever to be invited to play the prestigious SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas.
In 2008 Al worked with Paul Weller, appearing at The Wiltern Theatre in Hollywood on his American Tour.
Now Al is a much sought after entertainer who packs an awful lot of bang for your buck! With a huge repertoire of dynamic floor fillers from the sixties to the present along with classic passion felt power ballads that will have everyone singing along
He is a consummate professional with over 30 years experience in the business and always guarantees that he puts 110% heart & soul into every single performance.

I am a solo performer singing with backing tracks. I have my own PA. An 'in-house' PA is always easier.
My equipment footprint is small. My PA is designed for use in a large or small venue.
I have both sound & lighting.
I can
The Wiltern Theatre, Los Angeles as support act to Paul Weller. Support act for Robert Cray. Support act for Chrissy Hynde. Support act for Andy Roachford. Support act for Andy Fairweather Low.
I love all kind of events.

When I was in a band we'd normally get to the gig two hours before the start with a soundcheck 20 or so minutes before houselights up. As a solo performer it's very similar timings.
Absolutely, weather permitting (rain and electrics are not good bedfellows).
They can request a song or songs as long as they give me sufficient notice.
I'm happy to say that I have never got less than 10 out of 10. People always end up dancing at my gigs.
