I honestly can't say what the best gig has been so far... They are all great, different, but all special.
I enjoy all types of events, as they all have different vibes. What I really like is seeing the expressions of those who hear me sing, whether in a concert, a wedding or an event.
I have sung countless times in all sort of venues: concert halls, churches, synagogues, mansions, restaurants, hotels, retirement villages, private residences, indoors and outdoors equally. The biggest crowd was in Trafalgar Square: ten thousand people!
My greatest influences are Luciano Pavarotti and Mario Lanza, but I have learnt from all the great tenors of the past.
There isn't one absolute greatest song in itself, but depending on the context there are many that I love: Che gelida Manina, Nessun Dorma, Maria from West Side Story, Love Changes Everything, and Lanza's Because You Are Mine.
I normally arrive 15 minutes before the performance as my set up is almost immediate. Depending on the event, I may sing for any length of time, from 15 minutes to an hour in as many sets are required.
