Boston-based multi-instrumentalist Yuval Agam has been playing saxophone and clarinet for over a decade. A member of his high school's jazz program, Agam has attended prestigious jazz competitions such as Essentially Ellington and the Mingus High School Jazz Festival. He has shared the stage with a number of big names, including Bill Pierce, Earl McIntyre, Boris Kozlov, Keyon Harrold, and Lauren Sevian, and has performed at venues such as Rose Hall, the Hatch Shell, the Berklee Performance Center, and the Jazz Standard in New York. Agam received his degree from Berklee (B.M. Saxophone Performance, minor in Creative Coding). During this time, he pursued advanced studies under the Global Jazz Institute, where he was mentored by Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci, George Garzone, Godwin Louis, Tia Fuller, Joe Lovano, Nicholas Payton, Dave Liebman, and others.
