The best gig I've ever done was my first solo show at the wine castle of St. Cosme in the south of France.
The best venue I've played at was for Sofar Sounds Berlin, and it was in the house where David Bowie used to live.

I love all kinds of events. When I play with my band, it can be bigger. When I play solo I also very much enjoy a more intimate place.

I started gigging as a teenager, but only recently started taking my music to the next level. I love the connection with the audience and seeing people opening their hearts to my music. Music makes time stop. I am recording my debut album at the famous Funkhaus in Berlin and play gigs regularely across Europe and hopefully world wide.

I have been very influenced by the great, classic songwriters such as Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell. Contemporary artists that keep inspiring me are for example Soko, John Frusciante and Lana del Rey. She is my favourite musician at the moment. The greatest song of all time for me is...impossible to name!!

I most typically play 1-2 hours of original songs in a solo set up, which is me on vocals and guitar.
