We are CUARTETO MOON, a crossover string quartet born in the city of Barcelona, Spain, beginning of 2018. Our repertoire covers different genres and periods, from Classical to Modern, including Rock, Pop, Tango, Jazz, Film Music & More. Our current members are Álvar Llusá-Damiani, Jor Villarnovo (violins), Adrià Gorrias Cardona (viola) and Denisse Iula (cello).
We have huge experience in collaboration with different projects, such as the electronic music group Playback Maracas, recording the album Playback Maracas & The Electronic Moon Orchestra and performing in important stages such as Razzmatazz 2 and the festival Barcelona Acció Musical 2019 – a concert filmed and broadcast by Barcelona TV. We have also made an appearance in an episode of the TV series 'Merlí: Sapere Aude'.
Regarding Concerts, Private Events & Weddings, we have performed in spectacular venues in France and Spain, such as Teatre Gaudí, CC Sant Martí, Cúpula las Arenas, Hotel María Cristina, Hotel La Gavina, Ca N'Alzina, Château Engalin, Airelles La Bastide, among many others. Besides our eclectic repertory, we are always up to prepare new music. We have already arranged a full repertoire for string quartet and soprano singer, and have collaborated with Scottish bagpipes at the specific request of our clients. We can write our own arrangments so we can prepare the music you like the most for your event. Bring up your own ideas! :)

4 chairs. We can play fully acoustically or with a microphone and an amplifier that we can provide. In that case, we would need an input.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment.
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
We performed at Barcelona Acció Musical (BAM), for almost 4000 persons in 2019, in collaboration with techno group Playback Maracas. We appear in a chapter of TV series 'Merlí: Sapere Aude' playing a Franz Schubert's fragment, as well.
We love playing at all sorts of events.
We start gigging together at 2018. Since then, we've performed in concerts in theatres, corporate events, weddings, etc.
Frank Zappa - Uncle Meat (and we play it!).
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
Previous customers would describe us as a lovely chamber group that catches the attention of the audience.
We perform a great variety of genres: Classical Music, Opera, Jazz, Tango, Spanish Music, Film Music, etc.
