Ilaria Sacchi Mezzo-soprano. Versatile and refined Italian opera singer

My name is Ilaria, I was born in Bologna and pursued my studies in Milan, where my family's artistic environment led me to devote myself to music and performance from an early age. I am considered among the most versatile and elegant Italian opera singers with a vast repertoire of Italian and European operas, sacred, symphonic and chamber music ranging from the eighteenth to the twentieth century and operas such as Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Cavalleria Rusticana, Rigoletto, Aida, Adriana Lecouvreur, Suor Angelica, up to the lead role of Carmen in Bizet's opera, in which she has achieved great personal success at every performance.

I have performed in prestigious international settings such as the Ljubljana and Santander Festivals. Recently I have been to the United States twice where I first performed a concert of opera arias and then Verdi's Messa da Requiem.

I participated in the Galas for the Verdi Centennial Celebrations in Milan and Busseto (Parma). In my artistic career I have had extraordinary opportunities to work under the baton of great conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Chailly, Ádám Fischer, Juraj Valčuha and alongside great artists such as the famous tenor Lando Bartolini.

My mentor was the great chorus master Romano Gandolfi, with whom I made my Milan debut in Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle and Verdi's La Traviata. My singing performances have been appreciated by many internationally renowned musicians, including Ennio Morricone.
