Nerea&Galya is a violin-cello duo with a modern music repertoire, from pop to jazz or commercial, performing in concerts, events or celebrations.
Nerea Gimeno and Galya Sky met each other during their Master Studies at Prins Claus Conservatoire, Groningen. Ever since then, they have been playing together in multiple ensembles and projects, most of them related to genres out of the classical. They are both members of Stage Strings, non-classical string quartet, and they have collaborated with ensembles like Stage Jazz Band or Jong Metropole Orkest.
One of their preferences to play in is weddings. They have a lot of experience perfoming together in beautiful celebrations across the country, in venues like College Hotel Amsterdam, Buitensocieteit Paterswolde Groningen or Paviljoen Puur Diemen.
