"I attended a variety of performances at wedding, christenings, and at Vinylio wine bar and was extremely impressed by Mike's and Kate's performances as well as their connection to the audience, real world class performances. The audience was fully engaged althoughout the performances and enjoyed greatly. I believe that the Duet are a great addition to events!@"

Modern, classics, musicals and being a Christmas wedding even a few Christmas carols. I All beautifully played and had our guests singing. "I can't say enough wonderful things about Cold Weather Company! Steve was my primary contact and he responded to every email promptly. He answered yes to all requests. The band arrived on time and agreed to stay for a late night acoustic set. They were consummate professionals. The music is why we chose the band, and it was amazing & beautiful to hear live. They were the perfect blend of background music that you really want to stop your conversation to listen to, however their cover of Let It Be was so moving, it silenced the room. We could not have chosen better for our fundraiser, all 150 guests were entertained! We are still hearing rave reviews."

"The Pagliuca-Mena ensemble is incredible – and that is not a word I often use. I found it original, listenable and completely absorbing, not only for the musicians’ class but for the arrangements and the inclusion of so many different facets of music: It’s heavy on the jazz but also strong on the Latin, a little classical and even a touch of folk now and again. It is hard to put into words how struck I was listening to this so I am not going to try, but rather say if you want something very different but with enough familiarity to make it still comfortable, listen to this music. It takes a lot for me to get excited by a band on first hearing, but the Pagliuca-Mena Sextet instigated just that. They are one of the most exciting bands I have heard for a long time and the delivery of this music is truly exceptional. "
