"We hired Jon to perform at our 16 y/o son’s birthday party. Our son is a big Beatles fan. Jon knocked it out of the park! He was a hit with our guests of all ages. My son was on Cloud Nine as Jon played a wide range of his favorite Beatles songs. We very much enjoyed watching and listening to him sing and we plan on coming to see him wherever he’s playing in the future! - Ron & Carrie W., Avondale PA"

"I’ve been listening to Ian Thompson ‘s album ” New World” for several days now whilst travelling to work and back Ian is incredibly talented and a unique and wonderful singer/ song writer He’s from Liverpool and now resides in the Isle of Man The thing that stands out with this album for me is the quality and melody of the songs ( jointly written by Ian’s brother Jimmy ) You can’t help making comparisons with the Beatles with that standard of writing There is rock, pop, jazz and classical influence s here I hear shades of Van Morrison, the Beatles like I’ve already mentioned, Chris rea, Level 42 and even Madness The diversity of each track and the craftsmanship is breathtaking We live in an age where art like this seems to have so little monetary value When you consider how much, time, effort and emotion that’s been invested here This track ” Your my Liverpool ” has really affected me this morning To me it’s a song about loss, about missing times past and loved ones especially parents It conjured up my Mum straight away and I felt she was sat beside me in the car this morning as tears poured down my face A stunning incredible album by a fantastic musician. Beautiful. "

"Hi Mark Massive thank you to you and the band once again! Jerry absolutely loved it as did we all! We were hoping it would be special for him and it truly was, the smile on his face when he first came out and when he was able to be the 5th Beatle with his guitar was a dream come true for him and the rest of his team! Once again thank you!!"

"….Friends Restaurant, three times winner of the ‘Best Restaurant with Entertainment in Australia’, has booked Australian acts like Daryl Braithwaite and Mental as Anything and international acts such as The Platters and The Searchers. But it is the tribute acts like The Australian Beatles, AbbaFab and The Australian Blues Brothers provided by All Star Showstoppers that have patrons saying it is the best show they’ve been to. "Ian’s single aims to give a lift to anyone struggling Singer-songwriter Ian Thompson has released a new single ‘Starting Today’, which he hopes will provide ‘a lift’ for those struggling with their mental health or addiction. It’s available now on all digital platforms. Ian said: ‘It’s been on my mind a lot recently, as many people I know are suffering with mental health and addictions. There have been some tragic cases on the island, and I just wanted to write this song with the message that it doesn’t have to be like this, there is always a way out and every day is a new day.’ Born in Liverpool, Ian moved to the island 13 years ago, after meeting his now wife during a trip to the island when he visited some friends. When he moved, he decided to become a full-time musician, and frequently gigs in venues across the island, as both a solo artist, and with a band. He added: ‘I have worked in telesales, taxis, music shops, done office work, you just do what you can to get by, but the one dominant thing in my life that I have always done is my music and playing in bands.’ Ian has been writing music for years, and one of his songs ‘You’re my Liverpool’ has been added to Liverpool Football Club’s playlist. He explained his process of writing music. ‘I usually come up with a tune first, if I like the tune, then I come up with lyrics to go with it,’ he said. The words usually just fly out of me. I have never been short of things to say, and I think the tune dictates what the words are going to say.’ As with much of his music, Ian’s latest single was recorded at Ballagroove Studio, run by Gyp Buggane. Featured artists on the track include saxophonist Sammy J and piano was played by Ian Wright. Ian has more songs in the pipeline, and on top of his gigs and song-writing, he is looking to build his own recording studio with the help of Gyp."

"A truly amazing Lennon and McCartney show performed by Jon Perry last weekend. His vocals, guitar playing, and keyboard playing were excellent. The intimate setting along with great visuals and background music all enhanced the show. Joining all of us for dinner after the show further displayed his wonderful personality! "
