Review Centre: Crooners

"Since 2011, the band has a new focus. First, it is commissioning the legendary Bill Dobbins, to write sample arrangements from his famous “Evolution of Jazz Piano”, a series of movements based on the tune “All of Me”. Secondly, is breaking in it’s new vocalist, 19 year old sensation, Lindsey Holland. The band currently has over 60 arrangements for her to sing, including selections from Nancy Wilson’s disc with Cannonball Adderley. Furthermore, we have a Christmas Set now for her to sing, as well as many straight ahead jazz standards. The hope is for this group to record both of these projects sometime in the future."

"Great singer We hired Bruddah Vince for our baby shower this past weekend and he did an amazing job. He has a long list of songs in his repertoire and we were able to select all of our favorite ones. Excellent communicator and super friendly, we would hire him again in a heartbeat! "Best Hawaiian entertainer ever!!! It’s as if I IZ was playing at our event (as so many guest told us afterwards). Vince even learned a new song just for us, Ahi Wela/Twinkle Twinkle Little Star by IZ, and sang it so amazingly! He was the main attraction and what brought our Baby Shower together! I can’t thank him enough for what an amazing job he did!!🫶🤙👏👏👏"

" Cheryl R. • September 3, 2019 Mom's 90th Birthday Surprise Party!!! Hiring Johnny to handle the entertainment for Mom's 90th Birthday party was one of the best decisions ever! From the first time I spoke to him on call #1 until the minute he left the party that night he was immediately welcoming and passionate about what he does...I instantly felt like I knew him for years! We are a large family as I am one of nine children and we have many many extended who were to join us that day...so coordinating all them and covering some special shout outs to Mom's musical liking to making us feel like family....he made the party! I did my homework before I hired him and trust me when I tell you he is the best at what he does...he knows what he is doing and he professional, understanding, accommodating and any other positive adjective you can think of! Her for sure will be our go to for future events! He should be at your as well!!!"

"VInce was super talented and amazing! He sang for our daughter's first luau and put on a great show. He showed up an hour early to set up, and made our announcements in between his set. Not only was he a great MC for our event, but he was able to accommodate our other hired performers by playing their tracks as they danced. Vince was easy to work with and communicated clearly in his email and calls. We will definitely be using his service again! Mahalo! "

His performance was outstanding—his voice, energy, and stage presence created an unforgettable atmosphere for our gala dinner.
