Review Centre: Festival Themed Bands

"Phil performed a fantastic accoustic set for our wedding last week. Many of our guests commented on how great the music was. Phil played chilled out versions of a mixture of current and all time classic songs, which were the perfect background to our champagne and canape reception. Phil is very easy to liaise with and flexible to specific requests, learning 3 new songs that we specifically wanted. He also performed a great upbeat set at the start of our evening reception with a couple of friends as a 3 piece which kept everyone on the dancefloor for the full hour! "Josh and Nora are so professional and an absolute dream to work with. We booked them for our wedding and their responses were so quick and helpful and we met halfway at a pub for a drink and meeting regarding what we were looking for, different options and just to get to know each-other better. They are super genuine, friendly and professional and give you all the information and options to help tailor to your event/audience. They gave us our set tracks for the wedding a month or so before so we could listen and change any songs and the music variety they provide is excellent. They arrived at the venue no problems and on time, set up was done without any issues and their music was insanely good. We went with the 3-Piece and we got so many compliments on the music choice, the sax and Nora’s singing. It took a few minutes for guests to realise she was live singing as she was so good. They definitely brought the dance vibes. They also did shout outs to our children on the dance floor which was so lovely and come onto the dance floor at different points. They truly made our wedding so much fun and special and an absolute dream to work with. If you book them for any event, I promise you won’t regret it! Abi & Lee ❤️"

"We booked Pure Blarney after seeing the Promo video and reading their reviews. We wanted a band that would get all our guests on their feet and keep that dance floor filled all night, and wow did they deliver. They were absolutely amazing, from the songs, the interaction with the crowd and their energy, we definitely made the best decision. This truly is a band that you need at your wedding. Lively, enthuastic, entertaining, engaging and most of all an absolute brilliant bunch of people. Our guests have all said how fabulous they were, a lot have travelled from the UK, and have said it was the best band they have ever seen, and we both were blown away with how much they really made our night. Thank you guys, we could not have asked for anybody better!"

"The Hoedown Band were quite simply awesome!! We had a triple 50th Birthday at the local hall ... We had 146 people who all had the best night ever so they say, thanks in no small part to Dawn and the band. The musicianship was excellent and Dawn’s calls were clear and easy to follow and she was roving around and leading each group until we got it and went full steam ahead with the band ripping into it. I cannot recommend this band enough. They exceeded our expectations and once again made our party what it was. Thank you guys and girls!"

"We booked The Cheers band for our wedding reception after hearing them at a friends wedding a few years back. The atmosphere the band provides is electric and keeps your guests on the dance floor the entire night, which was exactly what we wanted for our wedding. Ben Thornton, the band manager, is approachable and super helpful in accommodating all your requests no matter how difficult they may be. We asked to swap one of the Dj sets for some Greek music which was no trouble for them to do. On the night the band were happy even though our food had been delayed which sadly ate into their first set of playing time. The band took this in their stride and played so amazingly to get our guests up on the dance floor for all the remaining time we had left! Absolutely incredible and I would 100% recommend them and book them again🥂🍻"

"We had The Cheers play at our wedding in April and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The band were great fun, very talented and got everyone dancing all night. They listened carefully to our song preferences and created a setlist that was perfect for our wedding style. In addition, they played our first song live which made our first dance extra special. They were professional, helpful and friendly, both in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. The communication was clear throughout and they even arrived slightly earlier so that they weren't setting up during the wedding breakfast. We had been slightly unsure about whether to hire a band as the cost is much higher than a DJ, but we have absolutely no regrets at all, and we would most definitely recommend The Cheers to others."
