""Archives played for my partners 50th birthday party and made it a truly memorable evening. They're very talented musicians who play with energy and enthusiasm. From the first song they played, everyone raved about how good they were and asked where I found such a good band (one person even booked them on the spot for a future event) They had everyone up and dancing through the entire set and had everyone calling for more at the end. The band were a pleasure to work with and helped us enormously with running the party, from choosing the set list to running with two different set up times until the very last minute to allow for the vagaries of british summer weather. They even learned a couple of new songs for us to add to the set list on the night. They were complete professionals and really nice people. To anyone who is thinking of booking Archives for a party or event - just do it, now. You won't regret it. They'll turn it into a night to remember.""

"I found Darren to be thoroughly professional from the moment we agreed the booking. He was prompt with interchanges of email, volunteered help in setting up our own interval music, and extended his agreed performance times, clearly enjoying his role. His performance, presentation sound and lighting equipment were all first class. Excellent interpretation of famous Sinatra and Darrin songs. I would not hesitate to call on his services again to add class and prestige to any suitable occasion. The party was held on 27th April 2019 (10 / 10) trevor curtis"

"I became a fan of Jeffs and Bird Street Players when i saw them for the first time at a local spot here in Tampa Florida. Never have i heard a local band with such timing, in the pocket riffs. The soulfull feel of his music is therapeutic. Jeffs style has everything I look for in live entertainment from fun loving energy to slow sultry grooving, jazz to reggae Jeff has it covered. "

"Kim Rammelkamp Cherevas recommends Old School Classic Rock. October 11 · The set list, as the band’s name implies, is both classic and rockin’ — as individuals, the guys in the band each have unique talents, but their ability to blend in a seamless way is what enables them to create a fun and enjoyable vibe for their audience. This was evident as people were spontaneously jumping up to dance, clap their hands, or sing along - sometimes simultaneously! They performed some of the more obscure classic tunes as opposed to what one usually “expects” to hear with a band doing covers. Some of my personal favorites were Golden Earring’s ‘Radar Love’ , The Rolling Stones ‘Dead Flowers’ and ‘Doo Doo Doo Heartbreaker’ as well as the Entwistle track ‘My Wife’ from Who’s Next. All of these and more were inspired renditions to say the least. I highly recommend Old School Classic Rock to anyone who’s looking for a trip down Memory Lane, that still feels fresh and exciting!"

"Tony Vani is almost as well known for generously encouraging and showcasing fellow musicians as he is for his versatility as a musician in his own right. His focus is on blues and classic rock with his band, “Stir” (Mark Bishop, bass; Shirley Dianne Baker, vocals; and, Christ Whiteman, drums). He also plays gospel blues with “Tony Vani and the Holy Blues Band” (Vitas Slapkauskas, bass; Matt Smith, guitar and, Chris Lingard, drums) and performing Delta blues in his duo with slide guitarist Kenny Pauze or by working solo. As every musician knows, you are not a true musician unless you have had that nightmare gig. Tony recalls one night at a club in Napanee when he had to do the walk of shame after being fired on the spot because his guitar string broke. Thus, he learned the great guitar player lesson: “though shalt not leave home without a spare guitar and have it tuned up, ready to go”. His most memorable gig was when he performed for his Mom on her 80th birthday – it was the first time she had ever heard him. Over the years, he has generously and tirelessly organized many open mics at The Belleville Club featuring a mix of amateur and professional musicians who perform solo or join in with others. He creates such a relaxing atmosphere that it feels like the concert is taking place in your living room. “I enjoy bringing out new people and watching their confidence grow. Music is therapy. People have the opportunity to try out new things, have a safe place to practice performing in public, and besides, it’s fun”, he laughs. Known predominantly for his harp playing, his favourite harmonica influences include Little Walter, Paul Butterfield, Charlie Mussellwhite and Corky Siegal. “I am so impressed with their tone, virtuosity, rawness and overall feel”, he says. Other musical influences include Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers, John Mayall, Muddy Waters and Robert Johnston. Self-described as self-taught, he says: “I always had awareness of what my personal style would be and I sought out teachers or I learned from playing along with records. I followed my passion.” He has just released a new CD of original material entitled “Her Blues” based on his own personal life experience of living with a loved one’s suffering. It’s a 7 year labour of love that is deeply reflected in the songs he has included on this album. Tony divides his time between his music, working with physically and mentally-challenged adults and living with his partner Debbie Hoskins, owner of the seven dogs who run their household. Find him at www.tonyvani.com or on Facebook @TonyVani and go out to support live music because #livemusicmatters."

I just wish we could do it all again. Thank you SO much for being part of our day and being so amazing. Music is the most important thing to me and you created exactly what I dreamed of.
