"Absolute talent guitarist was a pleasure booking him for my venue, turned up before time and all set up and ready, kept the crowd entertained and his skills on the guitar are unbelievable. A real pleasure meeting him and having him here. Absolutely recommend! "

"Amazing performers , the videos don't do them any justice. We hired the Dawnbreakers for a joint birthday party and they provided the best entertainment. Everyone raved about the band , would highly recommend!"

"Thank you so so much for playing at our wedding last week, you made the day so magical. From the beautiful music during our ceremony (I will never forget hearing your beautiful version of “I can’t help falling in love” as I walked down the aisle - I think that was my favourite moment of my whole life), to the gorgeous drinks reception music, to the absolutely brilliant band sets in the evening, you were just perfect. You kept the dance floor filled the whole night and many of our friends and family came up to me to specifically comment on what a fantastic band you are. Having you also organise the DJ sets between the band sets as well worked so well, and made the music throughout the whole evening run so smoothly. And of course thank you so much for learning “Walking on sunshine” for our ceremony exit! Your communication throughout the whole wedding planning process was outstanding, and you have made us feel in such safe hands from the moment we first heard you play at the Crockwell open evening 18 months ago. You and Matt are just wonderful (and the rest of the band of course). I cannot recommend Taylormade highly enough ❤️"

"The guys played at our hen do, and they were just fab! They played pop singalongs, some really great soul/motown… even some jazz and bluesy stuff which we loved. The vibe was just great. Everyone kept saying how great they were all night, especially when they whipped out a surprise rendition of "Dancing Queen”!! Professional, super friendly, and made our celebration really special. Highly recommend! "

"If you are thinking of having a singer at your wedding or event you need Megan! She sang all day at our wedding (February 2022) and completely transformed the day. She added so much emotion with her incredible voice! So many of our guests commented on how beautifully she sang each part of our day. She was available whenever we needed leading up to the wedding, meeting us at our venue and planning each part of our day to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble and she honestly bent over backwards to accommodate us, especially after having to change our original date 3 times! We cannot thank you enough Megan xx"

"I heard lunaspina a couple of years ago in Salina. The place obviously was beautiful, but lunaspina exhibition in the main square was something that made really magical that night. Her voice is so warm and elegant ..."

"There’s more to Johnny Ticktin than meets the eye. Well-versed in the blues, having once served as lead guitar player for the legendary Louisiana Red, the open-minded Ticktin is a sponge, soaking up the subtle six-string nuances and intricacies of a multitude of genres—from surf to classic R&B, swing and even Mambo—on his eighth album with The Headhunters, That’s All I Need. It would feel right at home in any rough-and-tumble roadhouse. The title is borrowed from a song, covered here in all its dark, swampy glory, off Magic Sam’s 1967 iconic electric blues marvel West Side Soul. Watery, backwoods ripples of Sam’s tremolo guitar style and seductive rhythms meander through Creedence Clearwater Revival’s mysterious kudzu on Johnny & The Headhunters’ version, as Ticktin and company paddle up a lazy river of Bayou groove. Just as fluent in nasty rockabilly, they thrive in the sweltering heat of the 1957 obscurity “Chicken House,” giving it a warm buzz and making it rumble and swagger, while the lascivious, infectious funk of “Body and Fender” – a Doc Pomus/Duke Robillard joint originally built for soul crooner Johnny Adams – shakes all over and ogles the female form. A rousing, boogie-woogie version of Lowell Fulsom’s Chess Records’ hit “Rock ‘Em Dead” is wonderfully shambolic, and Ticktin rides the lightning of the Link Wray instrumental “Ace of Spaces” like a champ, gleefully wheeling through edgy garage-rock riffs with appropriate vim and vigor. What feel he and his band have for this material. There is not the slightest bit of indifference to it anywhere on this record. Not that they need it, but help arrives in the form of keyboardist Tam Sullivan, who wraps smoky, sensual organ and wraiths of piano around a soulful remake of Bobby “Blue” Bland’s “Lead Me On,” and singer Liz Springer, who joins her brazen vocals to Ticktin’s in the cheeky, but charming, duet “Watch and Chain.” And, with the solid machinery of a good backing band at work behind him, Ticktin can just let loose – witness the slide-guitar fury of their cover of Elmore James’ “Shake Your Money Maker.” For aficionados of tasteful guitar work and music that time shouldn’t have forgotten, this is what you need. —Peter Lindblad SPREAD THE NEWS! "Susan Wareham 2022 recommends Ritchie Penrose - Celebration of The Soul & Motown Legacy Show. We can’t recommend Ritchie enough. He entertained our wedding guests perfectly. Ritchie sang for us as we took to the dance floor for our first dance, plus an additional serenade which was blissful. The dance floor was full during his whole performance. Brilliant singer and engaged his audience fabulously. We would definitely recommend him. Thank you. "

"It was our best friend's wedding date. We booked lovely through en core. 1 week before the booking lovely agreed to learn a new song which was very important for the couple! She came in on time, got changed, spent a couple of minutes to go through the order of reception. Soon as she started with first song (song she learned specially for the couple), bride and groom got emotional. Lovely is a fantastic singer and equally has a very good stage presence. Would highly recommend. "
