Review Centre: Party Bands

"The party had a Gatsby theme. Final Edition band dressed the part and as the guests arrived Gatsby music was playing to create the mood. The guests were aged from 6 to 80 and the band played songs from the 50's to current date. The feedback from the guests was great and a number of people requested their business card. All in all a fun evening ! "

"After initially speaking to Eric I knew that the band was right for the party I was organising. Eric is really reassuring when you have any questions or concerns about your event. A great set up and a great performance from the trio that played at my dads party. Everyone enjoyed the the music both play list and actual singing. There was even time to allow some guests to get up on stage and have a sing song. So glad I chose you! Good luck for your future performances. "I entrusted the Sexton Connection Band with providing music for my Memphis wedding. It was one of the best decisions I made. They were professional, on time, and sounded great! They provided a string quartet that played during the actual wedding ceremony that added a sense of elegance to the ceremony, a 9 piece soulful band for the reception, and a played playlist of songs I selected. Their price was very reasonable and worth every penny! I got a dj, string quartet, and 9 piece band all in one. If you’re looking for a band that can provide elegance and soul to your ceremony, I Highly Recommend the Sexton Connection! Tanya, a happy Bride "

"The Latin Formula did a superb job entertaining our family for my mother’s surprise birthday party. they were extremely amenable to my mom’s wishes - knowing all of her songs and adjusting their set list to cope. I’d highly recommend The Latin Formula to anyone looking for a way to get the party going and people dancing."

"We needed a band to suit ages from Uni graduates to wedding guests from 30yrs ago. The Cheers were amazing, all ages are still talking about them now! We had a marquee, stage, suitable electrics and dance floor, and wow, did they made the party rock. Ben was great with communication, very professionally documented and clear about their needs which was all reassuring. We booked well in advance... and so pleased that we did as it was fantastic! If only we could have more reasons for parties."

"Hi guys, ​ Me and Sam just wanted to pass on our thanks for playing at our wedding on Saturday. You were absolutely amazing!!! We were so excited to have you play for us but I think we were just amazed at how brilliant you were. We had the BEST time and our guests just constantly said how great the band was. You played all of our favourite songs, you had everyone on the dance floor for the whole night. We didn't want it to end and because of you guys I probably didn't spend enough time with my guests! ​ We would a million percent book you again and recommend you to anyone. Thank you so so much!"

"We chose the Insoulents for our wedding in Umbria, Italy in May and I could not say enough good things about them!! From the first contact we made to the day of the event, David was super available, professional and friendly and made planning the music side of things so easy and fun! The guests kept coming up to us to tell us how good the music was, and they kept the dance floor packed all night! We paid extra to have the saxophonist too and I would really recommend it, he added so much to the evening. Overall just a really amazing group of musicians and people, it was such a pleasure to have them at our wedding "

We were blessed with great weather, which meant everyone could have a dance outside to the wide variety of music played. "A HUGE HUGE thank you for everything on Saturday, you guys absolutely rocked!! The dance floor was full all and very merry! Sorry I didn't have a chance to properly chat to you, but just thought you guys were amazing. Thank you for making it so easy to deal with you guys in terms of playlists, editing first dances etc. And thanks for your patience on the day with timings, I wish we could have gone on and on, I just don't know where the time went. "What a find ˜Feed the Cats" have been for us at Dogs Bar. They're now regulars here, usually the Sunday arvo spot. They pack the place out and the whole room is jumping along to their funky and swinging jazz. Magnificent band! Gavan and Sonya, Dogs Bar, St Kilda"
