Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

We need a performance space of at least 8 meters x 5 meters. We require 2 x 13 amp power sockets and 3 parking spaces.

What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music."

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

We had the privilege of performing for one of the teams at the Brixton Carnival. It was an exhilarating experience to entertain the participants, and we truly felt like an integral part of the celebration!

What's your favourite type of event?

We love playing at all sorts of events but private parties are our favourite! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

Our journey began with gigs during our festival days, and from there, our performances evolved. Since those vibrant beginnings, we've had the honor of entertaining crowds at countless events across the UK and beyond.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Bob Marley and ska have always been a crowd favorite, their infectious rhythms and uplifting melodies resonating deeply with audiences. We love incorporating Marley's timeless tunes into our sets, bringing the spirit of ska to life for all to enjoy.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best."

Are you happy to perform outside?

Typically, we arrive two hours prior to the performance to set up. Our usual format consists of either two sets lasting 45 minutes each or two sets lasting 60 minutes each. While we're flexible and willing to adjust the duration, we've discovered that these set times tend to suit both us and our audiences the most effectively.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We're open to learning specific songs before the event, although we typically limit this to five songs. Clients are welcome to select their set list from our repertoire, or they can leave the music selection to us.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Past clients often describe us as a high-energy group that thrives on getting the audience up and dancing.
