We need a performance space of at least 8 meters x 5 meters. We require 2 x 13 amp power sockets and 3 parking spaces.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
Boomtown and Glastonbury.
Live music festival.
We began performing while at university, and our shows quickly evolved from there. Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of performing at countless corporate events, festivals, and private functions throughout the UK and internationally.
Toots and the Maytals, Desmond Dekker, and The Skatalites in our music. We also draw a lot of inspiration from the 2 Tone movement, with bands like The Specials and Bad Manners really shaping our sound.
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
Our previous clients often describe us as a high-energy group that brings an electric atmosphere to every performance. We thrive on getting the crowd up and dancing, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
