" Statement of intent: Notes ‘n Strokes-The art of making music and the music of making art. 2014 I have since 1997 after graduating from the Johannesburg Art Foundation, been engaged in a variety of visual art related projects in and around Gauteng. My research/ theme were to study and paint music more especially the music of The Sangomas (South African Traditional Healers).Paint the music they play when they set off to Twasa ( get their formal training) and the music they engage in on their return from their practices. To continuously paint it on occasional days of their festivities and ceremonies when they seek guidance from the greater spirits through an array of feasts. I then produced enormous amount of artworks based on this phenomenon and as time progressed I graduated into getting involved with live music bands other than that of The Sangomas. I began painting the music of a variety of bands and upon meeting a duo’ BlkSonshine’, started travelling and painting their acoustic nu folk music live on stages throughout Gauteng and other neighbouring towns. A musician myself, (a vocalist and percussionist), I have from time to time been able to compose, perform and if not doing so, paint the music I feel inside and that witch I gather from sources other mine self. ‘Jazz, World Music, Trance, Experimental and Afro Jazz.’ I spent endless time in my studio working at the art of making music and the music of making art. The concept has developed into me being invited to paint live documenting proceedings of prestigious arty functions, corporate events and performances. My chapter will explore the possibilities of music as one of the most powerful subject matter for developing very interesting and influential work of art I am involved with visual artists, poets, musicians, writers and dancers from various creative backgrounds as sources of inspiration for my work.. "

Chris is nothing short of wonderful! His personality loo, professionalism and delivery was superb! I called Chris at the last minute and boy, did he come through for our group! He immediately responded, he was reasonably priced and went out of his way to make our group have the time out their life! "I reached out to Jessica less then 48 hours before our event. The forecast was for rain and we had our entertainment cancel. She responded quickly and also asked me about the event to see if she could help with the theme within her performance. She arrived in plenty of time before the agreed upon time and was professional and personable upon arrival and set up. With her stilts, she rose above our vendors and customers with a beautiful festive costume and she brought sunshine and smiles to a rainy and gloomy day. She was attentive as well to our vendors and customers, asking if they would like to take pictures with her and our vendors and customers were delighted to meet and get to know Jessica. I highly recommend Jessica as a top notch performer who will delight any audience with both her talents as a performer and also with her charming personality."

"I would just like to leave this review for these outstanding flamenco dancers!!! Great communication from the start, full description of who they are and their history. That sold me straight away for the surprise 80th birthday I was planning for a very special lady! I explained everything from start to finish and nothing was a problem at all!! 100% recommended and the birthday lady was so pleased with them too and it bought back so many memories for her."

"I reached out to Magic-ian when arranging the annual dinner awards. ian was so helpful with his time and input. I was unsure that one man could perform for 400 people within a few hours but i was amazed by his consistent and proficient execution throughout the entire room. It was a joy to watch and a occasion to remember. He never once asked for it but he had drinks waiting for him when he finished See you in a few months again Ian"

"So Ken lambert has been a very close friend of mine for many years alongside their husband they have shown me my own confidence and even got me on stage for Doncaster pride 2023 something I never would’ve done without his bubbly energy Ken is an amazing performer and I never thought I would’ve been on a stage like that for a pride it has really changed my life and any businesses would be really lucky to have Ken perform for them ken is quite literally the life of the party and never disappoints x ❤️💯🥰"

"By far the best Fire performer!!! We had the pleasure of having Fiora Firefly do a performance at my Birthday party this weekend. Fiora was able to accomodate on short notice and arrive an hour earlier for set up. The stunts were absolutely amazing and she exceeded my expectation, the guest loved it and danced to the themed music that Fiora hand selected just for me! The performance props were phenominal, as soon as you think she was done with one she would start with another one and the act just kept getting better and better. Kept everyone entertained and surprised with breathing fire. The act was safe and fun, I would hire her over and over again any day. A must see."
