"Jay did a great job of performing while roaming around our party at home and engaging with guests. His tricks were excellent while also acting as “icebreakers” giving people a topic of discussion while he impressed them with his magic. Very professional."

"Hi Pat, I wanted to thank you again for the wonderful reading you gave me today and to tell you that it turned out that you were even more accurate than I first thought. I called my mother right after the reading. You had mentioned that my grandparents farmed in western Kansas. I thought that this was incorrect because, to my knowledge, they always lived in the Winfield, Rock, and Fredonia areas. However, my mother confirmed that they did live in Sharon Springs, in western Kansas, before I was born. You also said that my grandmother died in her late 80s, of a problem involving her heart or lungs. You nailed it: she died at 87 of heart failure that caused her lungs to fill up with fluid! You asked about a close family friend named Samuel or Sam. Mom believes that my grandparents had a friend called Samuel, with whom they often played music. Your leads about looking in the Kansas City area for more information about Emma's adoption seem very promising. We had always assumed that her adoption had come through one of the Wichita or Winfield area maternity homes. However, when I looked up the history of adoption in the Kansas City area this evening, I learned that in the first half of the 1900s, Kansas City was known as the 'adoption hub of the US'. Families from all over the country put their daughters on trains and sent them there to give birth in one of a number of maternity homes, due to favorable adoption laws. This gives us a whole new avenue to pursue and a new state (Missouri) in which to search for her birth records! We're still not sure why she would have called her doll 'the brown doll' or what blue box she might have been talking about, but we're working on it! You clearly had a very good connection with my family's history. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. Please add me to your mailing list - I look forward to doing it again! : ) Juli"

"An Unforgettable Magical Experience! We recently had the pleasure of hiring Jose for an event in Houston, and WOW! From start to finish, he had everyone—from the kids to the adults—completely mesmerized. This was far more than just a magic show; it was a mind-blowing experience filled with laughter, awe, and wonder. Professionalism: Right from our first interaction, Jose was incredibly professional, attentive to our needs, and eager to understand the vibe we wanted for our event. Punctual and prepared, he took care of every little detail to ensure a smooth performance. Charisma & Connection: What sets Jose apart is not just the magic itself but his charisma and ability to connect with every person in the audience. With charm and humor, he instantly made everyone feel like part of the show, which kept even the most skeptical onlookers engaged and laughing the whole time. Mind-Blowing Magic: Let’s talk about the magic itself—INCREDIBLE! Jose performed a variety of tricks that left us genuinely questioning reality. From stunning illusions to jaw-dropping sleight of hand, every trick felt fresh, exciting, and perfectly suited to the audience. Some guests are still trying to figure out how he pulled off certain illusions! Audience Engagement: A true highlight was how interactive the performance was. Jose got everyone involved, even our shyest guests, which made it such a fun and inclusive experience. The way he tailored the performance to engage all ages was fantastic, and each trick was met with applause, gasps, and endless smiles. Conclusion: If you’re looking for a magician in Houston who can elevate your event to something truly magical and unforgettable, look no further. Jose will bring the “wow” factor and leave your guests talking about the experience for weeks! Highly, highly recommend!"

"This isn’t the most sophisticated show on the Fringe and, strictly speaking, it is really a show for kids. But it is, without question the most enjoyable and almost impossible not to love unless misanthrope is your middle name. It starts behind a massive paper backdrop, as four clowns loom in silhouette. Soon they appear on stage and engage in a bit of conventional banter and knockabout comedy, with one of them - long hair, doleful face - clearly the stooge for the other’s mischief. At one stage, one of the clowns tries to read a map, borrows a pair of glasses from a member of the audience, gives them back to the wrong person, and, in turn, gives their glasses to someone else and suddenly a good 16 people are trying to retrieve their glasses from complete strangers. Our mischievous hosts meanwhile have moved on with the show. You can scoff all you like at fancy notions of breaking down boundaries between audience and performers, but when it works, there’s truly nothing better, and there is no greater proof for that than Mimirichi. By the time the clowns have ripped the set into vast armfuls of shredded paper and advanced towards the audience, it is clear what is to come and the audience is ready for what must be the biggest paper fight ever to have graced an auditorium. Later they will cower behind a paper goalpost as one clown arranges an impromptu penalty shoot-out complete with massive paper football and a goalie plucked from the front row. At heart, Mimirichi celebrate the human capacity for playing - the clowns engage in several slapstick vignettes that celebrate the transformative powers of paper (they use it to create horses, monsters, an Arabian belly dancer). One of them, meanwhile, develops a despotic appetite, and, dressed as a king, clambers through the audience throwing articles of clothing into his belly. Beneath the fun and games there is something profound - and profoundly moving - going on, crystalised in the tremendous finale. Quite simply, the show’s big heart puts you in touch not just with your own humanity, but with that of your fellow man."

"Grupo Flamenco de Londres performed a mesmerising evening of Flamenco at Spital Arts, Chesterfield on March 1st. From the start the audience were engrossed by the talented footwork of the swirling dancers, Fenella Juanita and La Rosandra with the guitar and vocals of Juan Giraldo. The audience clapped and stomped along and towards the end a good number were persuaded to dance themselves. The dancers dresses were works of art in themselves and with the fans and castanets it was a wonderful sight. We will be inviting Fenella Juanita, La Rosandra and Juan back. Don't miss them if you get the opportunity to see them, and if you're an organiser, book them quickly because they're in high demand."

"This is what I can say about Mereana, her heart is pure and her passion for everyone to succeed is unprecedented. She always finds the positive in anything that seems like it is a mountain to anyone, a hurdle that you can't get over, or a valley that seems like its impossible to get out of. She can turn your grey skies blue and bright with sunlight. I remember the first time I met her through my husband, I loved her instantly because she is a straight shooter and doesn't sugar coat anything, which, I respect most about her. In business she will ensure that she leaves nothing out that you need to know to help you progress, a very confident and effective communicator. She can take you from a nobody and make you a somebody, because she can see all the qualities in you, that you can't see about yourself. Lastly when she holds her Kareoke on a Saturday, you get swept away in the music, in her singing and you thoroughly enjoy the experience. "
