Review Centre: Roaming Musicians

"On December 1st 2018 our daughter Kerry married her partner Clare at the Milky Way Wedding Barn. The previous year we attended a Wedding Fayre where we spotted Tim playing the saxaphone and we promptly booked him to play at their wedding. The girls didn’t have any particular thoughts on what music they wanted at the time and Tim was extremely helpful with suitable suggestions especially the classical pieces. Tim patiently awaited their choices and didn’t even blink an eye when bizarrely one of the songs they asked him to play afterwards for fun was the Benny Hill theme tune !! This went down very well indeed with all. I suppose a saxaphone isnt the usual choice for wedding music but I have say it was perfect. It sounded mellow and smooth during the little ceremony and upbeat and fun for the champagne reception afterwards. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Tim again and I hope we have the opportunity to do so at some point. We had lots of feedback from our guests wondering where we found Tim and all thoroughly enjoyed listening to him and I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets a few bookings from our part of Devon in the future. "“The Ambrassadors were absolutely incredible, they went above and beyond to make our wedding so special. From making a surprise entrance through the back of the venue to dancing on the dancefloor with everyone. All the guests could not get over how amazing they were and are still talking about it now. They made it such a fun party and the dancefloor was jam-packed whilst they were playing. The band were so much fun and are a fantastic group of talented musicians, they honestly made the whole day!!"

"Cameron is an amazingly talented saxophone player and overall musician. He is great at both writing original parts as well as taking direction for parts. He has an incredible ear for music and is able to work very quickly at the highest level of quality in playing, tonality, writing, recording, and overall performance. He also can play a vast variety of different genres and styles. On top of all of this, he is very easy to work with and overall very cool and easygoing guy. I highly recommend to anybody looking for saxophone on their tracks!"

"We were lucky enough to book Das Brass for our wedding. We wanted something unique for our wedding and asked if they would mind performing as we left the church after our ceremony. Das Brass then led a procession of our guests to the venue and even performed on the boat we had booked to get us there. They really were brilliant and got everyone singing along. One of the main highlights of our day and would 100% recommend booking! The guests raved about them all day!"

"Where can I even begin? J-Sax was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end! We got married on 11-12-22 at the Chateau Frontenac, and decided to see if we could find a Saxophonist who would be willing to play along with our DJ at our reception. Jorg couldn't have been easier to work with and make our vision come to life. He was so talented and played a wide range of music during our dinner and then joined in the fun on the dance floor! He was the highlight of our party! He couldn't have been more delightful interacting with our guests and all of our vendors. I couldn't recommend working with him more!"

"We wanted an acoustic live band for our wedding and we found the Roaming Jazz Band on Instagram, they are from Barcelona but they didn't have any problem to travel to our wedding in Mallorca, that was great from them. At the wedding they played during cocktail and and before the party, during dinner. They didn't require any extra sound equipment as they played and sing acoustically the whole time. All our guests and family loved it, I can't wait to see the pictures as it was so much fun."
