"Fantastic band. The had us on our feet all night long with song after song after song. Very good chemistry between them all and that bond really makes for a brilliant performance. The singer is amazing and you can tell she loves what she does. Would recommend them to anyone who wants to dance the night away! "

"Thank you to Martyn and the rest of the Backbeats for a fantastic evening, they played a mix of music for suit all ages and their live 60's music was perfect for the party with many commenting on how good they were. Communication was fantastic throughout and made the organisation of the party easier. I would not hesitate to recommend this band! Thanks again!"

"Dearest Aoife and Groove Machine Band I know you must hear it all the time... the "thank you's" and the "you're so wonderful's", and I know you've probably seen a bazillion pictures online already... But I wanted to say too, something that's often forgotten in all the hullabaloo: Just seeing you on that stage probably affected a lot of young men & women in a wonderful way and gave them a lot of strength and hope for their own futures. You gave a wonderful performance on Saturday and I'm so looking forward to seeing your shows more often. Until then; you have all my thanks and admiration. "We were so lucky to have Ant play at our wedding. When we told him we wanted Led Zeppelin’s Thank-you as our first dance, Ant spent his time learning and perfecting his own cover of the song, which when performed was a moment we will never forget from our day. Ant is really passionate about music so it was great to talk through our play list with him. He is reliable, professional, truly talented and the loveliest guy. We loved Ant’s live music so much we booked him again for a 30th birthday party, which was equally as brilliant. "

"This crew brought the roof down in Quinta De Sant’Ana for our wedding last weekend. The whole dance floor was jumping, it was amazing! Thank you so much for your talent and for your ability to get the crowd going! The band has a very long list of songs to choose from including lots of crowd favourites!
